Wireless Barcode Scanner 2D

2D Wireless barcode scanning of both 1D and 2D barcodes including Datamatrix, Aztec, QR Code and PDF417.

2D Wireless / Cordless barcode scanners have revolutionised many point of sale and commercial Barcode scanning applications. Barcodes on Heavy or bulky products such as those often bought in garden centres, DIY superstores and furniture stores can be scanned easily unrestricted by cables without risk of inappropriate lifting.

2D Wireless barcode scanners are generally paired to base stations which recharge the scanners and provide connectivity directly to PC's or terminals via PS2 keyboard wedge, RS232 serial or USB (HID) interfaces. Alternative Bluetooth connection enables direct interfacing to a variety of devices including PDA's, Mobile Phone, Pat Testing Terminals and Bluetooth enabled laptop computers.

Wireless connection choices are either 433MHz narrow band, 2.4GHz, Zigbee or Bluetooth, with cordless ranges of 10M to over 50M line of Sight.
